Augmentation Rhinoplasty & Saddle Noses
We used the ‘open’ approach to refine a bulbous tip and a chin augmentation to strengthen this patient’s profile. Refining the tip entailed lowering the cartilaginous dorsum to raise the supra tip of the nose (just above the tip on the bridge or dorsum of the nose). We then raised the bony dorsum (the bone-supported portion of the nose, higher up towards the forehead) and complemented the result with a chin augmentation to create overall balance.
