Before and After Nose Surgery Photos 39

Augmentation Rhinoplasty & Saddle Noses

On the lateral view (the side view) this patient showed a slight saddle depression. Our surgeon corrected this with a laminar dorsal augmentation – he raised the bridge of the nose with a laminated beam graft, a technique the specialist Nose Clinic team devised in the 90’s to correct saddle depressions. The base view shows a caudal deflection (a twist on the leading edge of the septum) that we corrected with a ‘swinging door’ technique – the surgeon loosened the septum and swung the leading edge into alignment.
